It was a large group of people, none of them armed. They were younger, in their twenties and thirties, dressed in the fashion of what some kids might call "hip" clothing. They looked like game developers and programmers. Though, in the mix were those in business suits. As everybody raised their hands, some shaking in fear, the stormtroopers came out, checking for weapons.
"Who are all of you?"
A young woman stepped forward, her hands still high.
"We work here... We're Galactica Virtua Industries employees..."
An older woman, one in a business suit also came forward, lowering her hands.
"My name is Aster Partix and I'm lead counsel for GVI. What meaning is this with the guns and stormtroopers? Where's your warrant?"
"You're on an Imperial world, Ms. Partix. He's the warrant." Pointing at Akio, Mak looked back at the Moff, shrugging. "My name is Mak Manto, and I'm a Jedi Master. I'm getting a bit tired of repeating myself over and over, so I'll be quick. Your game is causing a lot of deaths and trouble across the Galaxy and seeing the large crowd outside the building, I think you know this. We want to speak to the CEO."
As the lawyer looked back, she nodded to a man who came forward slowly, his hands also raised.
"I'm Jost Corlon, CEO. Listen, I don't know why this is happening. Our team is looking at the code-"
Raising a hand, Mak turned back to Akio.
"You want to talk to him somewhere privately?"
Aster looked angry, stepping forward only a few feet.
"This is outrageous! If you do talk to him, I'll be there as his lawyer!"

Akio hung back during the discussion, bemused by the circumstances. A Jedi Master was leading an Imperial investigation; truly the Galaxy never ceased to find ways to surprise him. The employees here did not appear to share in his amusement though.
At Mak's question and the lawyer's outburst, Akio leveled an icy stare. "Mr. Corlon is under investigation for possible treason and murder charges against the Empire and its citizens.Either of which would merit capital punishment. Now, should he be innocent we will be on our way. Should he be guilty he, and anyone aware of his activities, will face the same punishment."
His eyes met the older woman's unflinchingly until she looked away. The Grand Moff would not stop her if she chose to follow, but there was no law within the Empire that said lawyer's had to be present. He also strongly suspected she would have no idea what was going on. Given those two facts, her presence would be more of a hindrance than anything else.
Scanning the office he saw what appeared to be a conference room, which would give them ample privacy. With a quick look to the stormtrooper's commander, he nodded toward the room. The stormtroopers surrounded the CEO and began leading the way to the room, two of them entering first to check for danger. Likely an unnecessary bit of caution, but the Empire did not like laziness just because something might be unnecessary.

Now in this situation, Madeline felt beyond out of place. She was not law enforcement. She was not a Jedi, not a soldier, not a Moff. This was not an area in which she had any expertise. Nervously she bit her lip and watched the exchange as she hung near the back. Right now she didn't feel needed at all. And after the Jedi and her cousin, and a few stormtroopers did Maddie follow them into the conference room and found herself a place to stand out of the way of the everyone and remain quiet until she was actually needed.
