The evening sunlight glinted off the skyscrapers of the Denon metropolis, as the sun began to lower below the horizon, beckoning for the denizen of the night to emerge. The streets flooded with hucksters, entertainers and the inebriated masses. Located near the edge of imperial space, where the Corelian Run and the Hydian Way intersected, Denon was bustling metropolis, vibrant yet overcrowded. It also served as an ideal stop between imperial space and the outer rim, a place where worlds met and opportunities came into being. One such opportunity was spice, a product, which Janos Vol`gen was more than familiar with. A youth spent in close proximity to the largest source in the galaxy tended to do that. The balosar fixed his shirt collar and straightened the crumples from his suit, colored a sober gravel grey, as he contemplated the events, which had brought him to Denon.
A few months back, a contact had informed him of the inner workings of the criminal underworld within the galactic core. According to that contact, there were a number of organizations interested in a direct supply of product. And what planet was more synonymous with spice than Janos´s home planet of Kessel? In the wake of the Empire`s rebirth, Janos had felt more than confident of the prospect and it`s rewards. Certainly the concept was nothing new, but with things still in flux, Janos had stretched his web of contacts ever further than before and made the appropriate invitations to an interested party.
He found it paid to be exacting in his work, especially when there was a great deal of profits in it.

Representing a moderate combine of spice producers on Kessel, Janos had been sent to head the negotiations with their potential customer, despite the protest of some among their number. He had however labored the point, that no one within the combine could have any direct contact with the end buyer, persuading them to employ his expertise and guaranteeing their anonymity. The less all concerned parties knew of one another, the better, after all it was hardly a social club they were looking to partake in.
Janos nervously glanced at his monochrome watch as he awaited the arrival of his guests in the lobby of the Nightfall hotel. The location, was definitely above the average paying citizen, but nothing too boisterous or popular, where the meeting might attract unwanted attention. Janos had booked a private suite for the meeting, which had been prepared to his exact specifications. Every courtesy was to be extended depending on their guests preference. He had also scrupulously combed through the suite for any surveillance devices and brought along a pair of G-2RD droids, one of which flanked him at this very moment while the other guarded the suite. Also the quiet bribes to the underpaid hotel management had unsurprisingly smoothed things along.
