Throwing My Hat in the Ring (Underworld/Invite)

Cross had to wonder what people disliked so much about Nar Shaddaa. Was it the shady spots? No, probably not. Illegal stuff was the most fun part. Maybe it was the Hutts? Okay, most people really didn't like the giant slugs. But they represented the closest thing to order the Smuggler's Moon had.

But whether or not the Hutts controlled the upper levels, there were always the lower levels for those people even less inclined towards being law-abiding citizens. That was his destination tonight, where the garish lights and engine noise weren't so prevalent. The only sound was from him puffing on the cigarette between his teeth, and the occasional rattling as the lift he was on passed over a bit of rusty track. Those really needed fixing.

The doors slid open to reveal what looked like a gauntlet of ambush points. The redheaded admiral pulled his heavy pistol out of his coat, holding it at his side as he walked towards the rusty-looking storefront of the Nameless bar. A quick look every few seconds was all he needed to ensure his safety, and he saw his lieutenant visibly relax when they walked up into each other's view. Cross grinned and flicked his cigarette away.

"Come on. We've got business with the Queen."
