This thread deals with setting out from the start of the mysterious hyperlane and finding out where it leads!
STORY SO FAR
In Part 1, Keter and Ronin Wendigo found themselves in an ancient Rakatan facility buried deep in a planet's crust. Poking various items turned out somewhat questionable, and after activating a vision giving map, Keter was left with one half of a map leading to a mysterious new hyperlane, and Ronin the other half. During this, Felicity Mason shared her father's vision due to their Force link.
In Part 2, Keter tried to find out information about the mysterious half-map in his mind by hiring scouts and explorers from the comfort of Zandra ’s bar. Ronin found himself in the area too, guided by the Force and the echoes of those who had made the star map in the first place. Meanwhile, Felicity Mason was on Naboo paying her respects to her deceased mother with her companion, Owain Barnabus.
Upon ending up in close proximity, the star map fragments in the memories of Keter and Ronin fused, leaving them both with complete versions of a star map leading to a small unmapped system several parsecs away from Ilum. The Infinite Empire knew this star system simply as a waypoint leading to something they called the Beachhead.
Once more due to the bond between Father and Daughter, Felicity Mason ended up with a copy of the map as well at an unfortunate time, leaving a panicking Owain to try to salvage the situation.

Keter stood at attention, his hands clasped behind his back. It had been a long time since he had stood where he did now – on the bridge of a starship. An independent ship, based off the CR90 corvette, the Relentless was a nominally independent trader with hefty debts to the Banking Clan. Which is why when he had come forward with his discrete proposal, they had been volunteered. Either this venture succeeded, in which case the Banking Clan had a whole new star system to exploit, or it failed and they lost no assets and potentially got rid off a troublesome client.
Of course, the blond had tactfully left out mentions of potential competition. He wasn’t sure, but the Force was poking him incessantly with some sort of sense of foreboding. This whole thing was not going to be easy. They were currently in hyperspace, heading for Waypoint, from where he would have to program in the coordinates for the navicomputer manually before jumping once more into hyperspace for who knew how long. That is why the corvette was running with a skeleton crew and a cargo hold packed with survival supplies.
There was always a very real risk of travelling for months in hyperspace with no way to resupply. Or potentially indefinitively. But Keter felt no fear at the prospect of becoming another cautionary tale starfarers swapped during drunken nights at cantinas. The Force would have warned him if something like that was bound to happen.
At least, he thought it would...
